How do I change my agent?

If you would like to request a new Farmers agent, you can start by calling our Customer Service team at 1-888-327-6335. Or send a message to Customer Service via our Contact Us form. Select “Other” from the dropdown menu, provide your name, email address and state along with your request for a new agent, and a Customer Service team member will be in contact with further details.

If you have an account on Farmers.com, you may log into your account and start your request for a new agent via live chat, Mon-Fri 7:00 am to 11:00 pm CST and Sat-Sun 8:00 am to 8:00 pm CST.

If you do not have an agent in mind, our customer service or chat team can help you conduct a new agent search based on your geographic location and preferences.  If you already have selected a new agent, please feel free to reach out directly to that agent.

If I am moving, will I need to request a new agent?

If you are planning to move, you may or may not need to select a new Farmers agent. Here are some things to consider:

  • If you are relocating within the same state, you may keep your current agent. You will need to notify your agent to update your current address using our Change of Address form. If you would prefer to select a Farmers agent nearer to your new address, we can help you find one or you can use our Find an Agent Tool on Farmers.com.
  • If you are relocating to a new state and wish to keep your current agent, you’ll need to first find out if the agent does business in your new state. To do this, contact your current agent directly or search for your agent’s name in your new state using Find an Agent Tool.
  • If you are relocating to a new state and your agent is not licensed in the new state, our Find an Agent Tool can help you locate a new agent near you.
