Whether it’s the moment your laptop sails out of your hands or you suddenly remember the last time you saw your tablet (in the seat pocket of your last flight), with Farmers® Device Protection, you can get coverage in Texas beyond the standard electronics warranty for damage, loss or theft.*

What electronic devices are covered
by Farmers Device Protection?
Farmers offers three protection plans:

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi speakers
DVD/Blu-ray players
Printers/scanners
External hard drives
Gaming consoles
Handheld gaming devices
Home theater systems2
Personal computers (Windows 8 or newer, Apple OS X 10 or newer)
What electronic devices are not covered?
Products not covered by Farmers Device Protection include:
- Household appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves or washers and dryers
- Televisions other than LED and LCD
- Professional-quality audio speakers
- Obsolete devices, such as computers running operating systems earlier than Windows 8 or OS X
Your Texas homeowners or personal property insurance coverage may cover these items if they are damaged, destroyed or stolen in an event covered by your policy. However, personal property coverage often doesn’t cover the sort of losses covered by Farmers Device Protection, such as mechanical or electrical defects, accidental damage, or lost devices. Check your policy to find out what perils are covered and whether you have actual cash value or replacement cost coverage.
