Some of common account recovery issues.

I forgot my password.

To reset your password:

  • Provide your username on the account recovery page. If you do not know your username, select the option “I don't remember both my username & password” and follow the instructions.
  • Answer the challenge question and select a new password.

I forgot my username.

To recover your username:

  • Provide your policy number, last name and date of birth on the account recovery page.
  • For your security, you will need to answer a challenge question to retrieve your username.

If you do not have your policy number, contact your agent or Farmers Customer Service.


I forgot both my username and password.

To recover your My Farmers account information:

  • Provide your policy number, last name and date of birth on the account recovery page.
  • For your security, you will need to answer a challenge question to retrieve your information.

If you do not have your policy number, contact your agent or Farmers Customer Service.


It says my account is locked.

For your security, we limit the amount of times you can attempt to recover your account information. You may be locked out of your account after too many failed attempts. You must wait 24 hours to try to retrieve your account information again. You can also contact
Farmers Customer Service for assistance.


It says my policy is inactive.

You must have an active policy to recover your My Farmers account information. Your policy number can be found on your insurance ID card, policy document or billing statement.

If you feel that you received this message in error, please contact Farmers Customer Service to verify your policy information.
