Beginning his career at Bristol West in 2012 as a Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Claims Adjuster, Timothy helped develop new processes and training materials as Bristol West expanded into new states. His expertise and initiative led to a role in the Bristol West Quality Assurance (QA) Department, where he built a strong network and collaborated on projects across the organization. Later, he moved on to handling Litigation and Special Investigations for New York and New Jersey PIP Claims. This opportunity really helped him grow as a Claims Adjuster as it enabled him to understand the purpose behind each action.
Advancing into a supervisory role, Timothy is now a PIP Claims Supervisor and finds the role highly rewarding. In this position, he works closely with Claims Representatives, helping them solve puzzles and develop in their roles. Transitioning to the supervisor role has significantly strengthened Timothy’s coaching and communication skills, while also deepening his understanding of how to work effectively with diverse individuals. This experience has also taught him to adapt his communication style to meet the unique needs of each team member.
Timothy has earned several awards for going above and beyond at work, including the Farmers Passion for Excellence Award, the Bristol West (BW) Excellence Award, and most recently, the Community Champion Award. These recognitions highlight his dedication to making a positive impact and his commitment to servant leadership, focusing on growth and the well-being of others.
Beyond his core responsibilities, Timothy also serves as the Farmers Pride National Co-Lead, contributes as a member of the Farmers Claims Inclusion Council, and is a Community Champion. Each of these experiences provide him with a unique chance to help employees feel connected, supported, and empowered to achieve their goals.
What Timothy values most about his work is the ability to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Each claim represents an opportunity to help policyholders navigate uncertainty, while also mentoring team members to achieve their goals.
