AJ has spent more than 18 years at Farmers® where she’s held a wide range of roles across the organization. Starting out as a Field Property Claims Adjuster, she eventually went on to expand her horizons and move into the role of Field Property Claims Learning Delivery Specialist (AKA trainer), where she traveled throughout the Midwest meeting countless employees and engaging and developing team members. In this role, she helped others reach their greatest potential while also honing her own communication, facilitation, networking and leadership skills. Following further development of her network and professional expertise, AJ transitioned into her current role as a Learning & Development Delivery Lead, where she continues to contribute significantly to the organization by bringing training to life, designing classes and online programs that help others at Farmers grow and succeed.
Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, AJ is passionate about volunteering and leading both at Farmers and within the broader community. She previously served as the National Co-Lead and now serves as the National Advisor for the Caregiver Connect Employee Resource Group (ERG), supporting employees who care for loved ones. In 2024, AJ led the Farmers Community and Employee Engagement Difference Maker team, a cross-functional group of 13 employees dedicated to finding innovative ways to engage employees in philanthropic initiatives. These efforts aligned with Farmers’ commitment to economic empowerment and disaster resilience. Under AJ’s leadership, the team successfully took part in reigniting the Community Champion Award, which honors employees who make a meaningful difference in their communities and provides recipients with a grant to support a charity of their choice.
