NO PURCHASE, SIGNAL APP DOWNLOAD, INSURANCE QUOTE, OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES OR WIN.  A PURCHASE, PAYMENT, SIGNAL APP DOWNLOAD, OR QUOTE DOES NOT AND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

VOID OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, IN PUERTO RICO, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

DETAILS OF THE PRIZES AND HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES ARE CONTAINED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES. 

Eligibility. The “SIGNAL REWARDS SWEEPSTAKES” (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of Texas during the Entry Period who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. The following are not eligible for the Sweepstakes: Employees of any company or any individual involved with the design, production, execution, or distribution of the Sweepstakes, and their immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, and children living in the same household).  Employees includes officers and directors.    

Proof of legal United States residency, age, and eligibility verification may be required.

Sweepstakes Period.  The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. PST on 1, 2021 and officially ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on 31, 2021 ("Entry Period"). 

Sponsor.  The Sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Farmers Group, Inc., 6301 Owensmouth Ave., Woodland Hills, CA  91367.  

How to Enter the Sweepstakes.

Method One (Signal^® app users):

Signal Program participants who (1) successfully record a Focused Driving Score of 80 or greater on the last day of the Entry Period or (2) enroll in the Signal program during the Entry Period and successfully record ten (10) trips during the Entry Period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.  In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any Entrant, Sponsor’s business records will be relied upon to determine the identity of the Entrant and to resolve such a dispute. 

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL WITH YOUR NAME, HOME ADDRESS, AND POLICY NUMBER ASKING TO BE REMOVED TO usw.signalrewards.23@farmersinsurance.com AND YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

Method Two (Free alternative method of entry):

Please email your name, address, and daytime phone number to usw.signalrewards.23@farmersinsurance.com by the end of the Entry Period. 

Regardless of method of entry, all entrants (“Entrants”) are subject to verification of eligibility before a prize can be awarded. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. 

Limitations:  Limit one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period regardless of entry method. Limit one (1) prize per person for the Entry Period. Entries will not carry forward to a drawing for any future Entry Period. 

Disqualification.  Each Entrant represents and warrants that his/her entry conforms to these Official Rules and understands that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify the entry for any reason, including if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the entry fails to conform to these Official Rules in any way. Sponsor in no way promotes illegal acts, and any and all entries which include or promote illegal acts will be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any mean which subvert the entry process are void.  Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain more than the allowed number of entries per person by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins, and/or any other methods will void any entry by that Entrant and could result in disqualification from this Sweepstakes and/or disqualification from all future sweepstakes by the Sponsor and at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  

Prize Drawing and Odds of Winning:  There will be 579 Winner(s) (“Winner”) of the Sweepstakes for the Entry Period.  The decisions of Sponsor, including the selection of Winner, are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of Entries during the Entry Period.  Winner will be determined by random drawing on or before June 16, 2024.  

Prize. Winner will receive a Reward Link in an amount of either $20, $50, or $100.  The total value of the Prize is either $20, $50, or $100 USD, depending on the amount.  Winner is solely and fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, city, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) on the value of the Prize, and, if applicable, will be issued an IRS 1099-MISC tax form for the retail value of the Prize.

The Prize is awarded “As Is”.  Neither Sponsor nor any of its affiliates make or offer any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with this Sweepstakes or any Prize.  Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of equal value may be substituted at Sponsor's sole discretion.  The Prize consists only of the items listed, are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, with no cash redemption or substitution except that Sponsor retains the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater retail value.  All costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, related to the Prize, including but not limited to, any taxes and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. 

All Prize details not covered by these Rules are at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. By entering the Sweepstakes and/or accepting the Prize you may win, Winner agrees that he or she has all rights, permissions and consents necessary to grant the rights to the Sponsor as expressed herein and will abide by and be bound by the Official Rules  and the Sponsor’s decisions.

Winner Notification and Verification: Winner will be notified by email address by the Sponsor on or before April 16, 2025 or through the Signal app on or before April 16, 2025. Awarding of a prize is subject to verification of a potential Winner’s eligibility and full compliance with these Official Rules, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. To claim a Prize, Sponsor may require Winner to complete, sign, and return Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release/Publicity Release forms, and other applicable documents, if necessary, which may require a social security number, postmarked within five (5) days of the date on the notification.  At Sponsor’s discretion, Winner may be required to produce photo ID or some other form of proper identification to claim any Prize.

If a potential Winner cannot be contacted, , is disqualified, fails to timely execute and return any required forms, or if the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, an alternate Winner will be selected by random drawing from all remaining eligible entries. If by reason or printing or other error, more Prizes are claimed than the number of Prizes set forth in these Official Rules, a random drawing will be held to award the advertised number of Prizes in the relevant category.  Under no circumstances will more than the advertised number of Prizes be awarded

Agreement to Official Rules. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy at Farmers.com and to be contacted by telephone and/or email.  Sponsor reserves any and all rights to solely interpret and administer these Official Rules which shall be final and each Entrant agrees to abide by all Sponsor decisions regarding this Sweepstakes. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.  

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, the Farmers Group of Companies, the Administrator and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies and such companies’ officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action and any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from, this Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, receipt or use/misuse of the Prize.  As a condition to entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees that: under no circumstances will the Entrants or Winner be permitted to obtain any award for, and the Entrants and Winner hereby waive all rights to any claim(s), punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages whatsoever, including attorneys’ fees.  All causes of action will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.  In no event will any Entrant or Winner be entitled to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable remedy.  

The Released Parties assume no responsibility for lost, late, mutilated, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries, or for any error, human, technical or otherwise, which may occur in the processing of Sweepstakes entries, administration of the Sweepstakes or the announcement of the Prize/Winner including, without limitation, any technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, including www.farmers.com, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes. 

The Released Parties shall not be responsible for Acts of God, government or government agency action or inaction, acts of terrorism, civil unrest or disturbances, riots, work stoppage delays, postponements, inclement weather, rescheduling or any other natural disasters outside its respective control.

Disputes.  Entrants and Winner agree that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes and the Prizes awarded shall be resolved solely by Sponsor, shall be final and binding, and without resort to any form of class action.  

The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, excluding conflicts of laws principles. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants in the Sweepstakes hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of California courts (state and federal) in Los Angeles County for any causes or controversies arising out of the Sweepstakes. Winner waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and venue in these courts.

Publicity.  Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the Prize, Winner grants to Sponsor and their respective advertising agencies the right to use and publish Winner's photo, image, name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, video image and audio, and/or other indicia of persona and city and state of residence in any media to promote the Sweepstakes or similar sweepstakes or contests without additional compensation. 

Use of Data.  Sponsor may be collecting personal data about Entrants including, without limitation, complete name, zip code, email address, and daytime phone number (including area code) of the Entrants and/or Winner.  Sponsor are entitled to use personal data contained in all entries in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to all personal information uses and disclaimers as explained in Sponsor's Privacy Policy located at Farmers.com.  Please click on the provided link to read and review our Privacy Statement here.  Each Entrant agrees that Sponsor, or its designee, has the right to contact Entrant by telephone, email or regular mail.  Entrant may opt-out of receiving future communications as set forth in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using the “Unsubscribe” feature provided in the footer of Sponsor’s emails).

General Conditions.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes for any reason, including, but not limited to, if fraud or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor’s ability to award Prize as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to void any entries at issue (including disqualifying any individual who tampers or otherwise interferes with the entry process or the integrity of the Sweepstakes), and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. In the event of such cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to award Prize(s) in a random drawing from all eligible entries received before the time of cancellation.  

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT.

Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.

Who Won. Sweepstakes results and copy of these Official Rules may be obtained by sending an email to usw.signalrewards.23@farmersinsurance.com. Requests for results must be received by , 2021. The requested list will be sent when the drawing has been conducted and the Winners verified.
