The decision is yours when it comes to selecting a vendor to repair or restore your home and property. Farmers can provide information to help you make that decision through our referral programs.
We work with reputable vendors who are properly licensed and insured — and have agreed to follow accepted industry standards and practices.
Vendors in this program are on call 24/7, 365 days a year. They offer emergency services to mitigate the effects of damage caused by fire, smoke and water. The goal is to prevent further damage to your home and save as much building material as possible.
For qualifying damage types, we can refer you to a contractor certified by Farmers. Participating contractors provide a job-completion guarantee and a five-year workmanship warranty. If you are dissatisfied during repairs, we will assign a different contractor to the job.
Referral services are provided for your convenience. Farmers is not responsible for the actions of participating vendors and contractors.
We work with vendors that specialize in restoring items from flooring to fabric and leather goods. If an item can’t be restored to its pre-loss condition, we will pay you for the item according to the terms of your policy.
Coverage up to $150 per incident (see your agent in TX, VA and NC for program limits). If cost of service exceeds your program limit, you may submit reasonable and necessary towing and labor invoice for reimbursement. Not available with all Companies and in all areas.
