Farmers GroupSelect insurance FAQs

It is a program that gives group members (for example, employees, members of alumni associations and community groups) access to quality insurance with group discounts and benefits. Farmers GroupSelect customers also receive Farmers’ renowned customer and claim service.

Auto and homeowners insurance lead the list, but you can also find policies for renters, condos, personal excess liability, boats, motorcycles, RVs and more with the Farmers GroupSelect program.

Farmers GroupSelect policy discounts could save you hundreds of dollars — and you could qualify for multiple discounts. Farmers GroupSelect offers automatic payment discounts, employment and tenure discounts (where available, excluding MA), good driver rewards, multi-policy discounts, multi-vehicle savings, 24/7 professional claim service and many other features that could save you time and money. 

Coverage is available for boats up to 31' in length with values up to $150,000, that are used for private pleasure and recreation. Farmers GroupSelect doesn’t cover commercial uses, nor boats one owns and charters out.

When you complete a boater safety course you may qualify for an additional discount. You may also qualify for additional discounts by having additional safety equipment on board when you are on the water.

We do have optional trailer coverage, which you may add onto your policy. This offers the same broad physical damage coverage to protect owned trailers that are used to transport one’s motorcycle, snowmobile, or other recreational vehicle.
