Farmers Insurance® Deploys Additional Resources in Response


Woodland Hills, CA (May 22, 2017) — A series of storms which included large hail and strong winds moved through multiple states including Colorado, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Farmers Insurance® is monitoring the damage in these states and deploying additional Catastrophe Claims Team members to provide front-line assistance to affected customers as needed.

Farmers Insurance estimates that these storms will generate approximately 22,000 claims across these states at an estimated cost of more than $138 million. Farmers® expects more claims to be filed over the next few weeks and encourages customers to file a claim as soon as possible by calling their agent, using the online filing system at https://www.farmers.com/claims/, the Farmers® app through their smartphone or tablet, or by calling the 24-hour claims center:
 

  • Farmers Claims Contact Center number: 1-800-435-7764.
  • Foremost and 21st Century customers can also use the 1-800-435-7764 number for assistance.
  • Bristol West customers can call 1-800-274-7865 for assistance.
  • Spanish-language claims assistance is available to Farmers customers by calling: 877-RECLAMO (877-732-5266).
