Farmers Names Yahoo! Veteran, Patrizio Spagnoletto, Head of Digital Strategy
Los Angeles, CA (June 17, 2013) – Farmers insurance, one of the nation’s leading multi-line insurer groups, has named Patrizio Spagnoletto to be the company’s new head of digital strategy.
In this new position, Spagnoletto will be responsible for defining and executing on an enterprise-wide digital strategy and will oversee all consumer-facing web capabilities, including mobile.

We believe Patrizio is the right person to improve our digital platform and further integrate our agents and our digital platform with our agents at the center,” said Michael Linton, Enterprise Chief Marketing Officer for Farmers Insurance.
Spagnoletto brings 18 years of experience in U.S. and international marketing, management and digital strategy. He was most recently vice president of global marketing services for Yahoo! In that role, he managed all marketing channels for the company including media buying, social and CRM.
At Yahoo!, Spagnoletto also was responsible for marketing the company’s leading advertising solutions giving him first-hand experience on digital media trends that matter. In 2011, he was a recipient of the prestigious Yahoo! Superstar Award for leadership.

Prior to his 13-year career with Yahoo!, he worked in various marketing roles for Ememories.com, Nestle Beverage Co., and Parmalat USA.
A graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, Spagnoletto earned a bachelor's degree in business economics and international affairs.
