Farmers Insurance® customers can now access policy and claim information on Amazon Alexa. Simply by interacting with Alexa, customers can inquire about the status of a claim and get information on how to contact your claims representative. You can also get answers to frequently asked questions about insurance terminology, policy coverages, deductibles and limits.
To get started: enable the Farmers Insurance skill in the Alexa app, link your Farmers online account, and ask, "Alexa, open Farmers Insurance,".
Once the skill is launched, Alexa can answer your claims questions, such as:
- How do I report a loss?
- What is a deductible?
- How long will it take to repair my car?
- What's the status of my claim?
You can also get answers to billing-related questions from Alexa, such as:
- How do I pay my bill?
- Can I enroll in paperless billing?
- How can I avoid service fees on my bill?
- How do I stop an automatic payment that is scheduled?
