To Farmers New World Life Insurance Company Customers in New Jersey

We will provide New Jersey residents a 90-day grace period during which we will not cancel life insurance and accidental death policies for non-payment of premiums. You will have to option to choose to begin the 90-day grace period either retroactively on April 1, 2020, or on May 1, 2020. By default, we are selecting April 1, 2020 to begin the 90-day grace period. You may contact us if you decide to select May 1, 2020 as your grace period start date. We will allow premiums due but not paid during the 90-day period to be paid over the course of the following year in up to 12 equal installments. Please contact us prior to the conclusion of your 90 day grace period to set-up the installment plan.

Farmers Life will waive late payment fees otherwise due, including any interest permitted pursuant to N.J.S.A.17B:25-3, and not report late payments to credit rating agencies, during the 90-day period. We are also extending to 90 days the period to exercise policyholder and contract holder rights and benefits under life insurance and annuity contracts.
