Farmers Insurance responds to customers impacted by strong winds and hail in Kansas and Missouri

Overland Park, KS (April 4, 2011) – The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® is helping its customers file claims following the latest extreme weather system that has struck the states of Kansas and Missouri.

“We have already mobilized a team of specialized claims personnel to assist customers,” said Dana Russell, state executive director for Farmers in Kansas.

In addition, special HelpPoint representatives have already begun to provide help to those customers who have called seeking assistance.

“Our 24-hour HelpPoint claims hotline has been providing help to our customers since the storm hit and we’ll be here to provide assistance on the ground, as well,” added Paul Crosetti, state executive director for Farmers in Missouri.
