Farmers Insurance Open - Since 2010 Farmers has been the title sponsor of the Farmers Insurance Open. The tournament is the first stop of the west coast swing of the PGA TOUR each year. Farmers' proudly has partnered with the host organization, the Century Club of San Diego to bring the tournament to life each year. As with all of our sponsorships, we believe that for an event to be successful it must be a partnership. We are happy to announce that in 2012 over $2 million was raised and donated to over 90 worthy charities in the greater San Diego Community. The tournament has an economic impact of $30 million annually on the surrounding area.
Tournament of Roses - Each New Year's Day, the country focuses its attention on Pasadena, California, home of the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game. It's a celebration more than a century old--a festival of flowers, music and sports unequaled anywhere in the world. It's America's New Year Celebration. This upcoming 2013 Rose Parade Farmers Insurance will celebrate its 54th consecutive year of participation and its fourth year as the Official Supporter of the Rose Parade Bands. Farmers understands that a parade isn’t a parade without the bands. As part of the time-honored Farmers tradition with the Tournament of Roses Parade, we help many high school bands achieve their dream of marching in the Rose Parade with our high school band sponsorship program, which funds a portion of their travel costs to Los Angeles. Farmers is also a sponsor of the annual Bandfest, where these prize-winning bands perform their award-winning field shows at Pasadena City College a couple days prior to the Rose Parade.
Rascal Flats - Farmers is proud to announce that it will be the sponsor of Rascal Flatts concert tours for the next two years. This the first time that Farmers has sponsored a musical act and we could not be more proud of the band and the opportunity to partner with them. Rascal Flatts has 14 number one hits with the most recent "Banjo" which climbed to number one in 16 weeks.

High School Sports

High School Sports - The High School Sports Partnership Program is a corporate sponsorship with statewide high school athletic associations to provide educational materials, information on the Y.E.S. program, enhancing the high school sports experience and in some states funding student athlete scholarships.
Sparks - 2012 marks the Farmers fourth season as presenting sponsor of the Los Angeles Sparks professional women's basketball team. Besides supporting women's sports, Farmers has helped hundreds of middle and high school girls bastball teams get to Sparks games and live their fantasy of meeting the players.
Hendrick Motorsports - In 2012 Farmers Insurance joined Hendrick Motorsports as the majority sponsor of the No. 5 Chevrolets fielded by Hendrick Motorsports and driven by 11-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winner Kasey Kahne. Covering the 2012, 2013 and 2014 racing seasons, the partnership secures primary paint schemes for Farmers Insurance in 23 Sprint Cup Series events annually. Our brand will be displayed at track via a new paint scheme and fire suit, through various types of media, including a commercial with Kasey Kahne, on track signage and at track activation when available. This new partnership also gives us the opportunity to activate with our 24,000 employees and 50,000 agents nationwide. Hendrick Motorsports, whose operations go beyond the racing on track, is an incredible operation and we are exploring the many ways our two companies can work together in other business units, and venues, in the future.
Farmers Field - This historic 30-year deal provides naming rights for a stadium designed to accommodate a wide variety of uses, including NFL football, soccer, conventions and exhibitions, trade shows, concerts and other entertainment, convention and sporting events, as well as a replacement of the West Hall (Los Angeles Convention Center). Farmers Field represents tremendous exposure for Farmers - showcasing the Farmers brand on a national stage. When operational, Farmers Field will provide literally billions of mentions for Farmers each year through NFL telecasts, print and broadcast sports coverage, and broadcasts of other events which are held there. It would also be an ideal venue for future Super Bowls, creating top-tier national and international brand exposure. The stadium is estimated to be completed in 2015 or 2016.
