Bryan Murphy
Chief Claims Officer
Bryan Murphy is Chief Claims Officer for the Farmers Exchanges, a position he has held since he joined Farmers Insurance Exchange in 2001 as a Senior Vice President. In 2007, Murphy was promoted to Executive Vice President.
Murphy started his career as a marine underwriting trainee with Chubb & Son in New York City in 1978. He moved to Hartford Financial Services in 1983 and held a variety of positions. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Claims in 1993. In 2000, Murphy joined Zurich Insurance Group as Head of its worldwide Claims function.
In addition, Murphy is a member of the bar in Illinois, Connecticut and New York. He is also a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), and chair of FoodShare - a non-profit organization that provides food to other organizations in Ventura County, Calif.

Keith Daly
Head of Property Claims
Keith Daly is Head of Property Claims for Farmers Exchanges, a position he was appointed to in early 2013.
Daly was previously Vice President of Claims Field Operations for 21st Century Insurance. Daly joined Farmers in 2009 when Farmers acquired 21st Century. Since then, he has served as Vice President of Auto Claims for the Pacific Zone and Vice President for the East Zone in Auto.
Daly began his insurance career in 1993, as a Claims Representative Trainee with Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. There, he held numerous technical claims roles with advancing responsibilities before moving into management roles. In 2001, Daly transitioned to 21st Century Insurance, where he became a Vice President Claims Process Leader. In that capacity, he directed strategy for Liability, Auto Physical Damage, PIP/Medpay, SIU, Training and Quality Assurance.

Alex Jivan
Head of Commercial Claims
Alex Jivan is the Head of Commercial Claims, a position he has held since 2008. In this role, Jivan oversees all business insurance claims including all national causality, WC, commercial auto, commercial property, construction defect, environmental pollution, national asbestos, and discontinued business operations.
Jivan joined Farmers in 2003 as the National Litigation Manager for Personal Auto. In 2005, he was promoted to the National Director of Litigation and oversaw all aspects of the litigation cost containment program. Subsequent to that, Jivan became the Assistant Vice President of Commercial Casualty and Specialty Organizations.
With 40 years experience in the insurance industry, Jivan began his career at Travelers Insurance Company as a trainee. From there, he took a leadership position in Sentry Insurance Company. Jivan later transitioned to Crum and Foster Company as the Area Claim Manager for the Western United States. In 1999, he joined The Hartford Financial Services where he served as a Claims Manager, the Assistant Vice President of Personal Lines Functional Outcomes, and the Director of the Western Commercial Claims Department.

Doug Menges
Head of Auto Claims
Doug Menges is Head of Auto Claims for the Farmers Exchanges, a position he has held since 2007.
Menges joined Zurich in 1997 as Vice President of Operations in its Baltimore, Md., offices. He joined Farmers Group, Inc., in 1998, and in 1999, he transferred to Farmers' Home Office in Los Angeles to lead its Prematic Services subsidiary.
Two years later, he joined Farmers Insurance Exchange as Vice President of Strategic Services. He later moved to auto claims in 2003 as Vice President, Auto Claims Field Operations for the Farmers Exchanges.

Ron Myhan
Chief Financial Officer
Ron Myhan is Chief Financial Officer for the Farmers Exchanges, a position he has held since 2007.
Myhan joined Farmers Group, Inc., in 1979 as an accountant at its Home Office in Los Angeles, and subsequently held the position of accounting supervisor at both the Los Angeles regional office and Home Office. He was promoted to internal auditing manager in 1986 and to director of Accounting Systems Programming in 1989. In 1993, he was appointed to Director of Securities Accounting, Compliance. Two years later, he was promoted to Head of Property and Casualty Accounting. He then became Head of Commercial Finance and Strategic Planning in 1997.
He was appointed Head of Finance in 2001, and then to Vice President and Treasurer in 2002. In 2005, Myhan became Head of Finance for Farmers Insurance Exchange.
Education: B.S., California State University Northridge, Northridge, Calif.; holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditors (CPA) designations.
Jeff Dailey
Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Dailey is Chief Executive Officer of Farmers Group, Inc., a position he assumed in January 2012. Farmers Group, Inc., is the attorney-in-fact, which provides non-claims management services to the Farmers Exchanges.
Dailey joined Farmers Group, Inc., in 2007 when the Bristol West Group was acquired by the Farmers Exchanges. While with Bristol West, Dailey was Chief Operating Officer of Bristol West Holdings, Inc., from 2001 until 2004. Dailey was named President in 2004 and was instrumental in taking the company public with its listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:BRW). In 2008, he became Executive Vice President of Farmers Group, Inc., and President of Personal Lines. In January 2011, he became President and Chief Operating Officer of Farmers Group, Inc.
Dailey started his career with Mutual Service Insurance in 1980. In 1986, he started Progressive's CAIP business and LAD business, the former an assigned-risk commercial servicing business and the latter a servicing carrier for private passenger Auto insurance. In 1988, he was promoted to general manager of the Northeast region and in 1992, to Division President. In that role he was responsible for all facets of Progressive's business in nine northeastern states. In 1996, he formed Reliant Insurance Company, a non-standard Auto insurance startup owned by Reliance Group Holdings. In 1998, he headed Reliance Personal Insurance - a role he held until it was sold to Bristol West Holdings, Inc., in 2001.

Deborah Aldredge
Chief Administrative Officer
Deborah Aldredge is Chief Administrative Officer for Farmers Group, Inc. In this role, she oversees Human Resources, the University of Farmers, Government and Industry Affairs, and Risk as well as administrative oversight for Internal Audit. She was previously Chief People Officer for Farmers Group, Inc.
Aldredge has more than 25 years of experience in human resources and corporate learning. Prior to joining Farmers, her experience included senior human resources, learning and development, and performance roles at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Thomson Financial.

Steve Boshoven
Head of the Foremost Brand
Steve Boshoven is Head of the Foremost Brand. In this role, he is responsible for Farmers’ Specialty business unit, as well as the Bristol West business unit and all of Farmers Independent Agent Distribution. He was previously Head of Farmers Specialty Business, a position he held since 2006.
Boshoven joined Farmers in 2000 when Farmers acquired Foremost Corporation of America. At that time, he was appointed Vice President of Farmers Insurance Group, Inc. In 2005, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Farmers Specialty Lines. In 2006, he was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Farmers Specialty Lines. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Farmers Group, Inc. in 2007.
Boshoven has 30 years of business experience and 23 years of insurance industry experience. He joined Foremost as its Controller in 1986. In 1990, he was promoted to Vice President and Controller of Foremost. Four years later, he became Senior Vice President of Information Technology.

Tony DeSantis
President of Personal Lines
Tony DeSantis is President of Personal Lines and President and CEO of 21st Century Insurance. In this role, he leads all product development, pricing and underwriting functions, as well as all aspects of the 21st Century business.
DeSantis and joined Farmers in 2009 when Farmers acquired 21st Century Insurance. He is a veteran of the insurance industry, with more than 30 years of experience.
In 1981, he joined Liberty Mutual Insurance. He joined the American International Group, Inc. (AIG), in 1986. During his 22 years with AIG, DeSantis held positions in Claims, Underwriting, Marketing and Product Management. He was an integral part of AIG’s direct-marketing initiatives in the United States, providing strategic support to parallel activities in Japan and Europe among other duties.
He was appointed President of AIG Marketing, Inc., in 2005, and later president and CEO of American International Insurance Company (AIIC) and 16 other Personal Lines insurance companies within AIG.

Scott Lindquist
Chief Financial Officer
Scott Lindquist is Chief Financial Officer of Farmers Group, Inc. He joined Farmers in 2008 and is responsible for all financial related matters for Farmers Group, Inc. Lindquist's responsibilities include financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, investments, treasury, actuarial, tax and finance operations. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of Farmers Group, Inc., and the Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union.
Before joining Farmers Group, Inc., Lindquist served as Chief Accounting Officer for three successive years each at Genworth Financial, Inc., and The Phoenix Companies, Inc. Lindquist played a key leadership role in the transformation of each company's finance organizations as they transitioned to a public company environment.
In addition, he was a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers' national insurance audit practice for 14 years, the most recent two years as partner. Lindquist served a variety of U.S. and international insurance clients in a variety of audit and advisory assignments, including initial public offerings, demutualizations, mergers and acquisitions and other capital transactions.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.

Mike Linton
Chief Marketing Officer
Mike Linton is Enterprise Chief Marketing Officer for Farmers Group, Inc. He joined Farmers Group, Inc., in 2011 and is responsible for marketing, research, internal and external communications, strategic planning and digital marketing.
Linton began his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble in 1980. He went on to hold various marketing and general management positions at Progressive Insurance, James River Paper Company and Remington. In 1999, Linton moved to Best Buy where he became its first ever Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for all marketing, research, call centers, and public and investor relations. In 2006, he moved to eBay, first in general management, then as the Chief Marketing Officer.
Linton is on the Board of Directors of Capella Education and Support.com. He previously served as a Director of Peet's Coffee & Tea and the Allen Edmonds Shoe Company.

Simon Noonan
President of Business Insurance
Simon Noonan is President of Business Insurance, a position he has held since March 2011.
Noonan joined Farmers Insurance through the acquisition of Bristol West in 2007. In 2009, he became Chief Operating Officer of Farmers Business Insurance where he was responsible for executing many of the plans and projects that have led to the growth of Farmers Business Insurance over the past several years.
Noonan joined Bristol West Holdings, Inc., in 2002 as Senior Vice President of Actuarial Product and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2005. He then became Chief Operating Officer in 2006. Before joining Bristol West, Noonan was a part of Metis Financial LLC, a consulting firm providing actuarial and merger and acquisition services, with a focus mainly on non-Life insurance companies.

Mhayse Samalya
President of the Farmers Brand
Mhayse Samalya is President of the Farmers Brand. In this role, he oversees all aspects of Farmers Personal Lines business and Exclusive Agent Distribution.
He was previously Head of Distribution for Farmers Group, Inc. Samalya served as President of Farmers Business Insurance - a position he held since joining Farmers Group, Inc., in 2005. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2008.
Samalya previously served for four years as Chief Executive Officer and President of Hanover Insurance Company. Before assuming that position, he served as president of the company's newly created Hanover South region.
Samalya joined Hanover after a successful period with Travelers Insurance Company, where he was a Regional Vice President. Before Travelers, he spent 17 years with Aetna, Inc., in a wide range of positions, including underwriting, data processing, marketing and training. He also served as Managing Director for its Homeowners SBU.

David Travers
Chief Operations Officer
David Travers is Chief Operations Officer for Farmers Group, Inc. Travers joined Farmers Group, Inc., in 2006 and is responsible for all operational areas and information technology, consisting of approximately 4,000 employees across the country. He also has responsibility for program management, operational integration and administrative services, as well as serving as Farmers' March of Dimes Board of Trustees member.
Before joining Farmers Group, Inc., Travers was a Senior Vice President at United Services Automobile Association (USAA), a major property and casualty insurance company. His 26-year career with USAA began with an entry level customer service position directly supporting customers in a contact center environment. With over 30 years of operations experience, he is a highly regarded leader within the field and an industry speaker on leadership and contact center operations. His multifaceted areas of expertise include communications, leadership, multi-site contact center operations, process engineering, project management and customer experience execution.

The Farmers Insurance Exchange, Fire Insurance Exchange and Truck Insurance Exchange are California inter-insurance exchanges owned by their policyholders. Each of the Exchanges is governed by its own Board of Governors, which in turn appoints the Exchange's officers.
Farmers Group, Inc., or one of its wholly owned subsidiaries provides certain administrative services for each Exchange pursuant to a power of attorney. Farmers Group, Inc., has a Board of Directors, which in turn appoints Farmers Group, Inc.'s officers.
The Exchanges do not hold an ownership interest in Farmers Group, Inc., or its subsidiaries, and neither Farmers Group, Inc., nor any of its subsidiaries holds an ownership interest in any of the Exchanges.
