Teenage drunk driving

Teenage drunk driving is a serious national problem:
 |
One out of ten children ages 12-13
uses alcohol at least once a month. |
 |
In a single year, 522 children under
14 were arrested for driving while intoxicated. 113 of them were under 10
years old. |
 |
70% of all teenagers drink alcohol.
|
 |
60% of all teen deaths in car accidents
are alcohol-related. |
Why do so many teenagers drink and drive? Maybe they just
don't understand how only one drink can affect their driving. Teenage boys with
a blood alcohol level of .05-.10 (within the legal limit in most states) are
18 times more likely to become involved in a single-vehicle crash than non-drinking
