The Airship, owned by Airship Ventures, will be coming to the Detroit metro area on June 20 and will land at the Willow Run Airport, located at 801 Kirk Profit Drive In Ypsilanti, MI.
“The airship, Farmers, Fox Sports Detroit and the March of Dimes are teaming up to conduct two major events for the public while the airship is here to promote our large commitment to Michigan. We are currently in the process of adding 1,600 new jobs to the Michigan economy and looking to add over 200 new agencies to boost our marketshare in the state.” Walrath continued.

HOW TO WIN A RIDE ON THE AIRSHIP:
The first is an on-line silent auction hosted by the March of Dimes. Twelve pairs of tickets will be auctioned off through June 22nd which will give the winners a 45 minute ride on the airship. These rides will occur on June 25th departing from Willow Run airport. Anyone can bid on the tickets with a minimum bid of $200 for a pair. The second event will be a Fox Sports sweepstakes. This is a joint venture with Fox Sports Detroit that will run through the 19th of June. Fox Sports has purchased tickets on the airship and will run information on how to win during its regular broadcasting, or you can go to the Fox Sports Web page at www.farmerscruise.com. There is no cost to enter. Fox is planning on filming the Sunset Cruise for airing at a future date.
There will be open flight times announced to the public interested in riding the Farmers Airship (weather permitting) based on flight schedules determined by Airship Ventures.
