Amarrillo, TX – (February 28, 2011)— Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® agents and claims personnel are working throughout the Amarillo area to find and help customers who have been affected by the wind driven fires that struck yesterday.
“We have set up a mobile catastrophe customer care vehicle claims center at the Cowboy Church, located at 8827 South FM 1541, Amarillo 79118,” explained Farmers Texas Panhandle District Manager Jeff Ivy.
“The Claims Center begins today at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and runs through tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. We encourage anyone with questions or needing assistance to visit the center,” Ivy said.
“We have water and snacks for anyone visiting the center. Farmers Jeremy Knight, Manager, West Texas HelpPoint Claims Services will help customers with auto claims questions and Mike Heath, West Texas Field Claims Supervisor will head up property claims questions,” Ivy added.
Farmers Northern Texas State Executive Director Jim Swope urges any customers who are not able to come to the claims center and have suffered damage to call the Farmers 24 hour hotline at:
