Claims Teams Ready to Help Customers
Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK--(February 1, 2011)--Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® wants all Oklahomans to be safe during the ice and snow storms that are crossing the state. “We join highway officials and ask all Oklahomans not to drive if they can avoid it during these terrible storms,” explained John Lucido, Oklahoma Farmers State Executive Director.
“If you have to go out, please take extra clothing, blankets and water in case of an emergency,” Lucido said. “Also, homeowners should be extra careful and follow safety procedures if using a gas, kerosene or wood stove. Plus, make sure children are safe and away from fireplaces or stoves.”
Farmers claims personnel, agents and employees are available to help any customers who suffer losses from the storms.
Farmers Insurance asks its customers who have suffered damage to call the Farmers 1-800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764) for immediate assistance.
Foremost Insurance customers should file their claim by calling: 1-800-527-3907.
“It seems unrelenting, but we want all of our customers in Oklahoma City and the Tulsa area where the snow has broken all records, to know that we are here to help them find shelter, get supplies and necessities and to provide excellent claims service to help them get through this difficult storm,” Lucido said.
