Cincinnati, OH—It was a page out of the popularTV show Deal-Or-No-Deal at a recent Walnut Creek varsity girls basketball game. Farmers Insurance agents from Cincinnati’s new AgencyPoint facility sponsored a half-time basketball layup and free throw contest to win cash for the school’s athletic boosters.
“Student Robbie Perry was chosen as students, faculty, community members, alumni and parents watched at half-time as he made layup and free throw shots to open briefcases filled with cash awards,” noted AgencyPoint Director Mark Reynolds. “Robbie ended up picking the briefcase with $500 in Visa Gift Cards. The $500 was matched by the Cincinnati AgencyPoint and $500 was given to the Walnut Hills High School Athletic Boosters.”
Sponsoring agents Brittany Green, Rusty Feth and the Cincinnati AgencyPoint are also helping to bring similar half-time promotions to four other schools this winter: Milford High School, Aiken High School, Roger Bacon High School and Turpin High School.
Farmers Insurance is expanding, and has announced a new effort called AgencyPoint in Cincinnati that acts as an agency recruitment and training center for candidates looking to become Farmers independent business owners.
“AgencyPoint offers a unique opportunity to anyone looking to become an independent business owner with Farmers,” explained DirectorReynolds.
