LOS ANGELES, CA-- (October 1, 2010) – For the second year in a row, Richard So, a Farmers agent in Cupertino, California, has been named Farmers Personal Lines Agent of the Year. He received the honor at Presidents Council, the annual conference that celebrates Farmers’ most elite group of agents and district managers. This year’s conference was held in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“In a challenging economic year, where others may have drawn back their marketing efforts when times got tight, Richard doubled down by putting more money into advertising and marketing than ever before,” noted Farmers President of Personal Lines, Jeff Dailey. “He raised his name recognition through direct marketing and working with a local radio station on insurance education programs and built his insurance agency by providing excellent caring service to his more than 12,000 home and auto customers. His professionalism, leadership, profitability and civic participation exemplify all that is best about Farmers, and we couldn’t be more proud of him,” added Dailey.
Richard So also works in many charitiable organizations in his community and he is a major supporter of the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Parents Association and the San Jose Youth Orchestra Association.
