Children ID program held at Checotah Marshall Elementary
CHECOTAH, OK—(August 11, 2010)—Farmers Insurance Agent Gary Coleman and agency staff members held a MILK event Tuesday night at the Checotah Marshall Elementary, 205 Owens Avenue, “Meet your Teacher” night.
“The Farmers MILK program is an excellent way for parents to have identification information, including fingerprints and a current photograph readily available for each of their children. The photo image can then be issued immediately to law enforcement should a child go missing,” explained Coleman.
“We photographed over 60 children emailing the photos to parents with email addresses and putting the rest on CD for those with no email account. We also gave away more than 100 fingerprint kits to the parents to complete at home with their children” Coleman added.
“A drawing was held for a bicycle donated by Walmart which was won by Dakota Easley. Checotah Flower Shop assisted with helium balloons which were a big hit. We also would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to elementary principal Jan Ledbetter for allowing us to work with the children in her building,” he said.
Anyone wanting more information about the Farmers MILK program, should contact the Gary Coleman agency at 609 S Broadway or (918) 473-2606.
