Farmers Insurance 2009 National Survey Finds Lewiston/Clarkston Valley Ranks Number One as Most Secure Small-Sized Cities in America

Lewiston/Clarkston Valley Residents invited to Celebrate in Lewiston’s Pioneer Park June 24th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 P.M.

LEWISTON, ID—(June 21, 2010)-- According to the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies 2009 annual survey of the most secure U.S. places to live, Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston and Asotin, Washington are the most secure small-size cities to live in...population 150,000 to 500,000.

“Congratulations to all government departments and citizens of the Lewiston/Clarkston Valley. It is an honor for Farmers to be a part of this survey, and especially to have the Farmers Idaho and Washington agents, district managers and employees live and work in the Valley communities,” stated Kris Pacey, Farmers Insurance Idaho State Executive Director. 

WHAT: 

Lewiston/Clarkston Valley Farmers Insurance Secure Cities Presentation at NOON. There will be hot dogs, soft drinks and chips served by Red Cross volunteers and Farmers Insurance agents; Live Music; Bounce House; Idaho State Police cars; Lewiston fire truck; and Nez Perce Sheriff’s Department car.

Farmers Insurance agents invite all families to bring their children to a special Managing Information for Lost Kids (M.i.l.k.) booth.  Families will receive free M.i.l.k. CD’s to store their children’s personal information on.  The CD is vital to give to law enforcement should a child become lost or missing.

WHEN: Thursday, June 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Special Presentation to Cities of Lewiston, Clarkson and Asotin conducted at NOON).
WHO: Kris Pacey, Farmers Insurance Idaho State Executive Director will present Farmers Secure Cities plaques at noon at the Band Shell in the park to:

Kevin Pool, Mayor of Lewiston
Donna Engle, Mayor of Clarkston
Bill Debonne, Asotin Chief of Police

In Attendance: Idaho State Representatives John Rusche and Liz Chavez.
