Farmers Insurance Responds to Tornado That Struck Billings, MT

BILLINGS, MT-- (June 21, 2010 ) – The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® is helping its customers file claims following the tornado that struck Billings and surrounding areas.

“Farmers agents and claims adjusters were on the scene immediately following the tornado strike,” noted Jeff Robinson, Farmers State Executive Director for Montana. “Our claims professionals are helping customers recover as quickly as possible.”

Farmers Insurance customers with damage should immediately contact their agent or call Farmers’ 24-hour-claims hotline: 

800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764) for immediate assistance.

Foremost Insurance customers should file their claims by calling 1-800-527-3907.

“Farmers has also deployed a Customer Care Vehicle to the area to help customers with claims questions or needing help,” Robinson said.  “The CCV as it is known, is a Farmers vehicle which is equipped with state-of-the-art communications equipment, plus has supplies of water and other items on board for our customers and non-customers alike.”
